It has been exactly one week since Ian and I returned back to Maui from an over 2 month long trip around the world. Then next month or so should be a very exciting one on WeekWithWalshy as we have gathered hours of video footage and stories from over 11 different countries on 4 continents. We surfed waves from the deserts of Africa to the Emerald Isle to the seas of the Middle East and met some very interesting people and did some very entertaining things and captured it all on video for your future viewing pleasure. I have decided to start off with a little video we shot in the Czech Republic. In the most absurdly random country for a surfer to travel to we ran into the Red Bull Air Bulls team of professional stunt pilots. We had been traveling non-stop for 4 straight days, planes, trains, buses, you name it, and we were both extremely tired, rundown, and Ian was battling a pretty bad cold. When opportunity knocks you answer the door, or turn off the lights and pretend to be asleep (which is what I wanted to do this day) but Ian could not pass up the chance to take to the skies and jumped at the chance to get behind the throttle of a stunt plane so we drove another 3 hours from Prague to go fly some planes.
