Walsh and Friends Paddle Jaws!!!

It was Monday Feb. 7th at about 2 in the afternoon when my phone beeps. It is a text from Ian. I instantly assume he wants to either BBQ at his house that night or he is just bored and wants to do something. Instead the text reads, "don't tell anyone but we gonna film jaws paddle tom with long and healey". I decode Ian's text talk and realize what the next morning might hold. The first thing I actually think of is to get a photo with myself, Ian, Greg Long, and Mark Healey just to put it on Facebook with the caption, "Guess which one in this group would pull back on a set first..." ( I failed getting the photo). Walsh picks the boys up late Monday night and I meet them at the boat ramp at the crack of dawn on Tuesday to launch the skis before I drive to the cliffs. The session that followed should go down as one of the most groundbreaking days in big wave paddle surfing. Please enjoy the following edit...
