RIP Andy Irons

The news of Andy Irons death hit hard. It was unthinkable that someone with so much talent and ability could be taken away so early in life. Then I began to think about the family he has left behind and the pain they must be going through. This is truly a horrible tragedy and we will all suffer. I never had the privilege of meeting Andy but know he was a close friend with Ian and several other close friends of mine who are understandably shaken up. Andy was without a doubt one of the best surfers to ever paddle out and also on of my personal favorites. I have WeekWithWalshy episodes that I was planning to upload on to the site but have chosen instead to pay respects to a fallen legend. Andy's death was truly tragic and the world will be a sadder place because of it but in this sadness I believe we can find hope in the beauty that was his surfing. Our prayers are with your family.
